Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film most well-known for her roles in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. The audience was impressed by her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several significant national and international productions. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. In addition, she is an official jury member for two festivals: and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
