Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra has been associated with numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. These projects included British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Other roles she has held include being a jury member at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
